MY STORY

I have called coastal Connecticut my home for most of my life. I live and have my studio on a 200 year-old farm

with my family.

The fields afford wide vistas of the beautiful Connecticut skies and the views out my studio windows offer treats of hunting foxes, foraging deer and hawks. At night as I walk back from the studio to the house for dinner I hear the distant hoots of the owls in the woods nearby. It is the natural beauty of this

place and my appreciation for God's workmanship that inspires my art.

I work primarily on fine art papers and boards in pastel and gouache, an opaque watercolor that can create luminous effects. I am a graduate of Cornell University's fine art program and have also studied at Philadelphia College of Art. For 15 years

I was an art director, most notably at

Young and Rubicam Advertising.

I am always open to doing commissions

of animals, places or flights of fancy.

I love collaborating. Send me an email on my contact page and we can discuss it!
