Late summer and fall really reveal the most charming aspect of this sticky and annoying groundcover. Each seed pod is in the design of a bird's foot. I pick them and set them standing bodiless on the table in my studio every year. Their humorous design almost make me forget my designs to eradicate this plant from my fields in the spring.
